Drawings

For those of you who don't know I'm taking a drawing class. Its just Intro to Drawing. Here are some of the things we've done in class so far:

First day... easy stuff.
Bird houses. I had a rough time with these. Really rough.
Chair. Bleh
This one was surprisingly easy.

I'm not really sure what this was supposed to be. I was tired and I just followed the teachers instructions.

Amir rolled the kittens down the stairs in his laundry basket. It was so funny I had to share. Don't worry, the kittens are okay. :)

Charger Saga....

I thought that some of you would like to know the continuation of the "Lame Day" post.... Since when I wrote the . post I still didn't have a charger for my phone. Well now I do and here is the story of how I finally got it...

The day after the accident Rich took the car to work because he had to go in early. So I was stuck at home until about 1pm when my mom picked me up to go to Costco to order Amir's birthday cake and go to my sisters dance class. We went to Costco first and ordered the cake. Its a super cute cake! (there will be pictures of his party after Saturday) Then we went to the Murray At&t store, this is the original store that I paid for the charger & where the man at the Brickyard store said he would drop the item off first thing in the morning. I walked into the store and it was the same man as the day before and he was helping someone else. He told me that it would be a few minutes unless there was something quick he could help me with. I explained that the person at the Brickyard store was going to drop the charger off there first thing in the morning blah blah blah and showed him my receipt. You know, the one that he gave me not even 24 hours before this. He didn't remember me and he said "OK" and continued doing whatever he was doing on the computer for the customers before me. So I waited..... And waited...... AAAANNND waited.... Finally after a while of waiting I asked him if the charger was even dropped off at his store. He looked at me with an annoyed look and he said "no, they must have forgot" ..... After that I asked him to just give me my money back for it and I would go somewhere else to get it. He said that he would after he finished with the people before me. So I waited again.... And waited... AAAANNND waited... I told him that I would need to leave and he said that I would have to come back later for the refund or go to the Fashion Place mall for the charger. I told him that I would come back for the refund (LAME!!) All I have to say is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Anyway I went to my sisters class and then on the way home just stopped at the Fashion Place mall to get my effing charger. I was in and out really fast. On the way home I opened it to make sure that it actually worked. It didn't work in my mom's cigarette lighter so I thought maybe it was her car that had the problems and not the charger. At least that's what I hoped. When I got home I plugged it into a outlet and it made a weird sound. & it didn't charge. But when I plugged the cord into my laptop it worked just fine. UGH!

I asked my mom if I could take her car BACK to fashion place mall to exchange it. I was FURIOUS at this point. I called them to make sure that they had another one and that they had a way to test it. When I got there the apologized etc etc etc and tested the new one. It worked.

Finally at about 7 pm I had a charger. Yes, my phone was completely dead!

By the way, we found some kittens in the street yesterday!! They are so cute!

Lame Day

I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. Amir was doing fairly well considering he is officially in "terrible 2's" mode. But after watching a few shows with Amir downstairs I came back up to find Jasper ON the kitchen table chewing up my iPhone charger. That's right, that dummy was laying on the table like it was his bed chewing it up. I cannot even put into words how angry I was about that. I try to plug the cord into my laptop to see if it would work (its not completely chewed) it kills my laptop. He could have chewed up anything... My flip flops were laying not even 6 inches away from the table on the floor... Also my laptop cord had fallen down and was on the floor as well next to the flip flops. Amir's bedroom door was even open to a smorgasbord of stuffed animals/toys. But no... He decided to get up on the table and chew up the CORD TO MY BRAND NEW IPHONE!! *breathe in slowly*

Anyway... I needed to go over to my mom's house and there is an at&t store right on the way. So when I stopped there and paid for my new charger the man behind the counter realized that they didn't actually have any in stock. (UGH!) He gave me my receipt and told me to go over to the one in Brickyard. Which was only a ten minute drive and is still pretty close to my mom's house. On my way over there Amir began to throw the biggest, loudest tantrum I have ever witnessed. I was completely distracted while I was driving and rear ended a girl in a jeep. (double UGH!) So now here I am, phone dying, just been in a car accident with my child perfectly calm in the back seat explaining to me what had just happened *insert funny noises and crashing sounds here* - Long story short, crashed... Everyone was okay, police came, the girl was really nice, my mom came to pick up Amir so he didn't have to sit there the whole time, cop didn't give me a ticket (yay!) and my car was still drivable. Although my hood is munched and it looks like when Rich hit the deer with the black car we used to own. After about 30 minutes of waiting for the cop to put all the information in we were on our way. I was determined to get to the at&t store even though at this point I just wanted to crawl into a hole and hibernate for a while. When I got there I showed the man my receipt and he gave me an open charger. He said that he had just opened it and that it should work. I took it out to my car and it didn't work.

While I was testing it in my car a guy came up to my car and asked me for $2 to ride the bus home because his car had broken down. I don't think it costs $2 to ride the bus buuuuut I gave him my last dollar because he looked like he was going to cry. Then as I was going back into the store I saw him and 3 other guys talking showing what they had scored from everyone (duh!) Right then I remembered why I hate going up to the Brickyard/Sugarhouse area... Someone ALWAYS asks me for money and if I don't give it to them I feel bad and if I do I feel stupid for being sucked into their lies!

Ummmm, where was I? Oh yeah, I went back into the store and told the man that it didn't work and we worked it out so he will pick one up in Sugarhouse and take it to the Murray store (the original store that I paid for it)

Then I took the drive of shame back to my moms house. With a munched hood I might as well have a big neon sign that flashes and says "LOOK AT ME! I REAR ENDED SOMEONE!! I SUCK AT DRIVING!" Luckily by the time I picked up Amir and got his stuff together to go it was dark. Either people couldn't see the front of my car or I just couldn't see them staring. Either way I was happy about it.

By the way, there was pretty much zero damage to the other car... I'm never driving again.

Interesting Evening....

Yesterday started off pretty good. Rich went to go help a friend move and I stayed home with the dogs and Amir. Jasper was just neutered on Thursday so he has his E-collar and medication that he has to take every night. He was "cryptorchid" so they had to be removed from his abdomen. So much for breeding the dogs!!!

The day went pretty smoothly other than Jasper's usual antics (i.e. Going through the garbage, chewing up anything and everything etc) Amir was a little grumpy but that has become regular. (lol) Later in the evening things were starting to go a little better. Everyone was playing outside and having a good time. Well within a few minutes Jasper had gotten out of his E-Collar and chewed it up. I knew I would have to keep a close eye on him until we could go back to the vet and get him a new E collar. Well apperantly I didn't pay close enough attention. He found his medication and chewed that up and ate all of the pills, about 6. Side effects; Neausea, vomiting & kidney failure. Luckily he only had vomiting.

This morning I took him into the vet for a new E collar and more pills. The tech just laughed about the whole story. That was before Jasper growled at her when she tried to put the E collar on him. Then she didn't find him so funny. Jasp can be mean when he feels like his humans are threatened. Its sort of cute.

The moral of the story: Don't get a dog. Let alone two.

This is Mason... The Nephew. He's pretty much one of the coolest people ever. I mean, who else would take pictures of himself? I was cracking up the entire time. We were at my mother-in-laws for her birthday and ohhh man... This is what happens when I leave my camera sitting out for everyone to use :P

So Far in October...

Three days in and I am already sooo excited for Halloween and Amir's birthday....

Morning Wardrobe Malfunctions

This is what we woke up to this morning.

I have "cleaned" it up a little because I know nobody wants to see that and there are creepies on the web!!!

Thats right, his pull up is hanging off half way and his jammies are almost off. He did this all himself before we even knew he was awake in his room!
