Family Vacation!

Well we finally did it. We FINALLY took a family vacation. We stayed in Oceanside, CA and went to Legoland, the beach & the Aquarium.  It was all pretty last minute since Rich wasn't sure if getting off work was a possibility. We flew out late Thursday night over memorial day weekend and drove back with some friends the following Monday night. We drove all night and got home Tuesday morning.

Baby the Second

Well it looks like I went through all the blood tests at the doctor for no reason because I'M PREGNANT!




My due date is estimated to be Jan 20th but that may change with the ultrasound that they will do to determine how far along I am.

Zoo Day

Yesterday we went to the Zoo. These pictures pretty much say it all :)

Phase I

As some of you may or may not know we have been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half now. So far no luck. A few months ago I saw a doctor (for something totally unrelated to babies) whom I haven't seen before and he suggested that since I already have one child that I go see a fertility doc just to see what they have to say. He said that I may not have to go through the extremes that most people do to get pregnant.  Since I have had fertility on my mind for months I decided to give it a try. I made an appointment.

The appointment went well. I had blood drawn etc etc etc. & the midwife put me on a pill that should make me start ovulating regularly. Yes, that means that starting today I have to take my temperature regularly. Blech! I go back in three months to re evaluate. If by then I am still not ovulating regularly I go on a stronger drug.  If I'm lucky I'll get pregnant in the first three months! Wish me luck!

Hyper Hamsters

This video pretty much speaks for itself. I recorded this on my phone today at the pet store. I was SO tempted to get these little critters! They are hilarious and awesome! If you listen you can hear Amir asking me if we can get them and why. lol.
