Four Years

This picture was taken January 2010, I currently don't have a recent picture of just us two.

I've been married for FOUR years today. Crazy? Yes. Does it make me feel old? Yes. ;)

It doesn't really feel like its been four years. But it also feels like forever. I don't know if that makes any sense at all. 

Today is also the first time Amir is having a sleepover at a friends house. His first real overnighter. He's had one overnighter before when he was about 1 1/2 - 2... But it was with Grandma & he was pretty young. He doesn't even remember. 

Anyway, its become sort of a tradition that Rich gets me some piece of jewelery. What he got me was lovely. He's so great. (picture below)

St. Patrick's Day

Today, a little leprechaun came to our house for some mischief. In anticipation of his arrival we baked him some green cupcakes.....

When he came this morning he turned our benches sideways and upside down....

He put his gold under our bowls and cups....

He turned our milk green!!!!

And worst of all.... 

Our toilet water was green!!!!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone....

We had lots of fun this year, lots of gold (snickers & reeses) to show for it. 

Fairyland

In January was our twin neices birthday. The same ones that we made the Castle Cake for.

They are made out of small brief cases with expanding foam, paint and other misc items to make it into a fairyland for fairy loving girls. :)

First Soccer Game

Well the title of this blog says it all. Saturday was Amir's first official game. It didn't take much coaxing this time for him to play. :) He had lots of fun.

After a while of playing. Amir and another boy decided to lay down in the middle of the game. They musta been tired. Ha!

Soccer Baby

Yep, my boy started soccer yesterday. It took him a while to warm up... By 'a while' I really mean almost the whole time. He was sleep deprived and wouldn't eat breakfast so he was pretty grumpy. But the last five minutes or so he kicked the ball back and forth with another little boy who was also reluctant to play with the rest of the kids. So that was pretty great and we walked out feeling positive. Amir left smiling and saying how much he loves soccer. :) I'm glad that he did. We are going to get him a mini soccer ball so we can practice in the backyard. Weather permitting.



I hope that he really does love soccer as much as I did. Its such a great sport!
