Halloween Lights

This weekend my sister in law and I made some Halloween decorations. They are made from glass jars, elmers glue, tissue paper and black construction paper.

They were really easy to make and turned out pretty cute.

Frankenstein, Ghost, Vampire, Pumpkin

The pumpkin was made by my sister in law but I wanted to show them all. You put tea lights in them and they glow! I love them. They are going up in my front window.

Fairyland

In January was our twin neices birthday. The same ones that we made the Castle Cake for.

They are made out of small brief cases with expanding foam, paint and other misc items to make it into a fairyland for fairy loving girls. :)

Magnets

I had some extra stickers laying around from last years calendar so I decided to make some "back to school" magnets with them. I'm really excited to use them next year when Amir starts school! I'm also making some halloween/fall themed for my brother in England. They turned out so well that I think I'll keep making them for every holiday. I love them!

Materials used: Mod Podge, Clear accent gems, Construction paper, Stickers, Magnetic strip

July Crafts

Since Independence day is only a couple weeks away Amir and I painted some pine cones red white and blue. There is a HUGE tree by my moms house that drops a bunch of pine cones so we gathered up a few on our last visit. Then we just used some washable paint to color them. Amir really loves to paint. I think I can safely say its one of his top 3 things to do. The other two being playing in water (IN THE HOUSE AND OUTSIDE!) & digging in the dirt. :)


We are sending these pine cones to my brother (the one on a mission) and his current companion for the fourth of July. We made them just in time because we are sending him a package tomorrow!


One more thing... I've been sending Sami weekly emails & I finally got a personal response yesterday... it said: "I miss Amir!" THAT WAS IT! Ha ha ha. He's a funny guy. :P

Spring Crafts :)

Yesterday I made a cute Wreath Bird Bath & a Recycled Bird Feeder. I made a smaller version of the bird bath. 6" wreath and 4" saucer. Amir was really excited when he saw what it was. I cant wait until the birds come to use the feeder and bath. Amir will love it!

Valentines Day!

This week Amir and I did some Valentines day crafts.

We used scissors and glue. That was a bit challenging but once he got the hang of the glue it was fine. For a while he thought that the glue was some sort of crayon. Ha!

The yellow one is my heart person and the red one is Amir's. I love that little guy!
