India

Well its official. Rich is finally in India for work. Amir keeps asking where daddy is and why. He can understand that he's at work just not why he's not coming home at night.  So now every night I show him on a map where daddy is and where we are. 

We also learn a fact about India every day. Something simple like Cows are sacred and they walk around in the city, Tigers swim in the rivers with sea turtles and river dolphins & the capital is New Delhi. (Even though Daddy is in Chennai) Amir was really interested in the Tiger fact. 

Nat Geo Kids

Hopefully he will be back next week, but he could be gone much longer. He had a lay over in Belguim. He had a Belgian waffle & now he finally understands why I get so excited over a real Belgian waffle. (they are SO hard to find here!)

School Days

Amir had his first day of preschool....

We went and he didn't want me to leave at first but after he saw how much fun it was he decided to stay.

When I picked him up he didn't want to leave!

My boy is so big. I cant believe he's going to school and is going to be FOUR in October. *sigh* Where did my baby go?

Baby BOY!

We found out today. Amir is getting a little brother. We are all very excited!

I go back for another ultrasound next week so there will probably be some better profile shots then! I have a very stubborn baby and he didn't stop moving to get all the measurements, etc. Little stinker!

Bear Lake

Last weekend we went and stayed at the cabin at Bear Lake. It was lovely. I cant believe my husband spent some of his childhood there. Its amazing! We stayed Thursday - Sunday.

 Early Friday morning, we watched the sun rise.

 Rich built a swing similar to one that they had up there when he was a kid. :)

 It literally takes 10 seconds to walk from the property to the lake. Its awesome. Amir totally loved it.

Our dogs got used to the idea of water. By Saturday night Jasper was trying to go to the water by himself!

 Lots of apple trees. The apples were YUMMY!

 As you can see... The lake was REALLY high this year.

Summer Video's

We visited my grandma in California. Amir loved the drums and the little power wheels 4 wheeler.

I guess these video's speak for themselves. We've had a pretty fun summer.  Amir starts school about three weeks. I cant believe it!
